The United Daughters of the Confederacy® is a non-profit organization formed by the joining of many local groups whose purpose was to care for Confederate Veterans and their families, in life and death, and to keep alive the memory of our Southern heritage. The Albert Sidney Johnston Chapter 2060 serves the Bexar County and adjoining counties in Texas.
About Us
Legacy: Continue the mission established by the Barnard E. Bee chapter in 1896. Texas Division UDC was officially organized in 1896.
Ancestry: Honor the memory and heritage of our Confederate ancestors.
Preservation: Protect and mark historic Confederate sites and landmarks.
History: Collect and safeguard the truthful history of the War Between the States.
Women’s Tribute: Record the devotion and endurance of Southern women during and after the conflict.
Benevolence: Provide aid to survivors, their dependents, and descendants seeking education.
Military Honor: Recognize the service of veterans from all wars and active duty personnel.

We are proud to support many projects including: the traveling Wall That Heals, Border Patrol Support Project, Confederate Cemetery Association, Wreaths Across America, Frank M Tejeda Veterans Home, SS American Memorial Foundation and Soldiers Angels-Warm Feet For Warriors.
