About Us
The Texas Division UDC was officially organized in 1896. Our chapter, Albert Sidney Johnston 2060 San Antonio was chartered 27 May 1932 and is part of Texas Division District VI serving Bexar and adjoining counties in Texas. Today, we continue the work of our predecessors, especially the Barnard E Bee chapter that was chartered here in 1896. We are dedicated to the purpose of honoring the memory of our Confederate ancestors; protecting, preserving and marking the places made historic by Confederate valor; collecting and preserving the material for a truthful history of the War Between the States; recording the participation of Southern women in their patient endurance of hardship and patriotic devotion during and after the War Between the States; fulfilling the sacred duty of benevolence toward the survivors and those dependent upon them; assisting descendants of worthy Confederates in securing a proper education; and honoring the service of veterans from all wars as well as active duty military personnel.

We are proud to support many projects including: the traveling Wall That Heals, Border Patrol Support Project, Confederate Cemetery Association, Wreaths Across America, Frank M Tejeda Veterans Home and Soldiers Angels-Warm Feet For Warriors.
